Chris King
Asians looks the same, but it is not true.
Chris was born and raised in South Korea. Believe or not, he was a known as a ridiculously funny person in Korea even though now he has become one of the most boring and sarcastic people in the United States. Even though most of his life has been spent in South Korea, in the most recent decade, he has had many chances to expose himself to various cultures. He was in the army for 26 months, and he served his mission in New Zealand. He studied at BYU-Hawaii for two years and married to a lovely Japanese lady. Now He and his wife have lived in Rexburg, Idaho for last 3 years. Both New Zealand and Hawaii have a quite a dynamic cultural diversity.
Chris often finds some interesting ethinical sterotypes in the Hollywood movies. For instance, Koreans in the movies are penny pinchers. Chis always wonders what makes people think that Koreans should be portrayed in that image. Even more jaw dropping to him, sometimes, Japanese-looking people speak Korean in the movies. Chris thinks these stereotypes occur because people aren't aware and don't understand cultural differences.
Chris will share his dynamic cultural experience and will reveal interesting episodes of his life in the "Culture" section.
